Unlike traditional braces, C5 Hidden Orthodontics is a completely invisible and comfortable way to straighten your teeth and achieve your ideal smile. C5 Hidden Orthodontics uses only tiny, thin wires (no brackets) that are smoothly adhered to the back of your teeth where no one will see them. They’re so comfortable you’ll barely notice the feel of them and will quickly forget they are even there.

How Does C5 Hidden Orthodontics Work?

Very thin wires (about the width of a hair) are super flexible and customized to your unique dental anatomy. When strategically placed behind your teeth, they’ll move into their ideal position. You’ll come in every 7-8 weeks for adjustment appointments, where we’ll reposition the wires for the next phase of tooth movements. Throughout your treatment, we’ll track your progress before each appointment with easy-to-use remote monitoring technology.

How does C5 Hidden Orthodontics work?

A digital 3D scan is taken of your teeth. After the wire is placed, you will come back every 8-12 weeks to have the wire adjusted. After treatment, you will be given retainers to hold the teeth in place.

How long does C5 Hidden Orthodontics take?

It can range from 3-12 months depending on the severity of your case.

Is C5 painful?

C⁵ is not painful. In fact, it’s one of the most comfortable orthodontic options available. Your teeth will initially be sore for a couple of days after placement. C⁵ wires are super flexible and smoothly bonded to the back of your teeth to comfortably straighten them.

Will C5 affect my speech?

C⁵ does not affect speech and you won’t experience lisping.
